Interview- Greta Gerwig

I met Greta Gerwig, the record-breaking "Barbie" filmmaker, in London when she was promoting her debut feature, "Ladybird." She had just been nominated for an Oscar for best director, as the second woman in history. There was plenty of buzz. The interview was a so-called "round table", where eight journalists vie for connection with the talent. We sat, indeed around a table, in a suite at the luxury hotel Claridge’s. I was very nervous but, with the help of waving my Scottish pencil case and general manspreading skills, I managed to ask all my questions. Gerwig was warm, funny, and thoughtful. Can't wait to see what she does next.
